There is a unique Town in Canada named "Dildo" .

Hidden in the Nightstand drawer of Newfoundland, Canada lies the sleepy town of Dildo. You might go for the name - and, of course, lots of people do; Dildo is a beautiful fishing village in Canada.

The island and area of Dildo have held this name since at least the early 1700s, likely predating any connotation to sex toys, but the origin of the name is not totally clear. 


The population of the Town is about 1200 peoples only. It is located on the southeastern Dildo Arm of Trinity Bay about 60 kilometers (37 mi) west of St. John's.
